1) I was responding to darkmaze's joke about avatar made on the prior page.
2) I'm not going to fix my avatar. Even if you've already done the work for me. That's just the type of guy I am. When you become a moderator I might care a little more, but probably not.

Again, this. Unless you're on dial up still for some god forsaken reason, no one's avatar is so grossly over-sized that it slows your computer down. And the fact that a non-mod who barely even posts here anymore just comes in and plays police about a subject that apparently doesn't even bother the owner of the site (or his brother, who gets annoyed by most everything we do) expecting everyone to fall in line and stand up straight is a bit ridiculous.

It's just too bad that since Syd and the other moderators don't seem to care much for enforcing the actual rules, you have given yourself a pass based on your own sense of entitlement.

Ok I will simplify this for everyone.
We should just have a thread where people who want to keep their cool avatars but don't want to resize them can go and this part is important ask for it. Beyond that the idea self polices itself. Without fail if I see someone with a giant avatar someone in a thread will mention it and the avatar usually gets fixed.
I don't get how when someone like hacker or Jon Snow offers advice people will get up in arms about how they are offering advice the people didn't ask for. The difference in some of those is the difference between white and off white.
Bottom line, don't be a dick about telling people about their avatar. If you have a gigantic avatar that resizes the whole page, don't be a dick about it either.
God people, I don't even want an avatar for fear some fucking bitch storm will unleash.
