"ANSWERED"
How do I get the fucking mushroom off my head in Earthbound.
I was going down to Twoson from Onette for the first time and I was attacked by a mushroom that used 'Spore'.
Now I walk with randomly inverted controls. HELP ME!

Mushrooms can be removed at hospitals or the occasional random person such as the girl at the entrance to Happy Happy Valley. Good news is that they'll pay you $50 for the shroom. Lifeup C and up also removes it I believe.

You can't do anything about the inverted controls till you get rid of the mushroom. The controls will change around too, so enjoy that.

Well maybe we should set up an RL Pic Thread in the abandoned fairgrounds for that purpose Wink ... but probably not.

I've been trying to beat 'TMNT the Manhattan project' since I was 4.

What is the best character to use to beat the game? Like which one does the most damage?

Everyone does the same amount of damage. As far as base combat ability, each turtle is identical.

Who has the best special move is a matter of opinion, I've always been a fan of Leonardo's, though Raphael's is awesome to spam at one life.

Why did NoA used to censor games when they could just put a "for mature players" label on the front?

IMHO, I think between lvls 9-12 are comfortably adequate, unless you're doing an all white mage or similar party, then you would probably want to be 4 or so lvls higher.

Donatello was always been my favorite, mostly because he had the greatest range.

I always use Donatello because I always thought he had the best range and he was my favorite turtle.

Let me take a swing at some of these.

There were no "mature players" back in those days, at least as far as Nintendo was concerned. Video games were considered a kid's toy, and a fad, and one NoA was worried would die out again. The last thing they wanted to do was give pissed-off parents something to complain about.

In my walkthrough I went in at level 13. Your level isn't so important as is whether or not you have enough FIR2/FIR3 spells to handle the enemies.

For more insight into this problem, see this page on TV Tropes, which actually has a link back to Sydlexia.com. Cool, huh?

Mrs. Man.

This is a common misconception. In the NES versions of TMNT2 and TMNT3, all of the turtles have the same weapon range. I don't know if this holds true for the SNES/Genesis or the arcade versions, however. I don't think so.

Donnie is the traditional geek favorite, though honestly, I like Raph more.

True, but the number of level 4 & 5 spells you have available is completely dependent on your level, right?

and to FS, my party is one red mage, one white mage, and two fighters.

Usa, I wasn't necessarily referring to the NES version, more so the Turtles in Time version. He definitely has longer range there.

It is, but that level is different for Red Mages than it is for White/Black Mages.

Your biggest danger in the Cave is the third floor, which has Wizards, Coctracies, and hoards of undead. That's where you need your LIT2, ICE2, and FIR2/HRM2 spells respectively.

Yea I read in a separate walkthrough that the Red Mage can't learn any L5-and-up spells until the class change.

Of course I read this after I bought FIR3. All in all, you're just another brick in the wall.

I'm stuck in Final Fantasy 7 Disk 2. The weird floating guy (Forgot his name. He's related to Red XIII somehow) joined us on the Highwind and told me to go somewhere, but I forgot where. There's no synopsis (Best RPG innovation, EVER!), and I've been everywhere I could think of. Any ideas?

Why is Donkey Kong 64 STILL not on Wii's virtual console? Nintendo owns the character so they should have no trouble porting it...
