I've hated MySpace from day one... but one of the biggest things that bug me about it is the use of horrible static backgrounds. If it's a more more wallpaper-esque design, it's not a problem. People put of pictures of themselves or their favorite singer or whatever and it's just plain terrible! I mean... you scroll... and... it's just... not right.

I try to spend a lot of time making my profile not be offensive to the eyes, by implementing such radical concepts as colors that work together and not including nine million retarded animated gifs or quiz results. It's a little image heavy at the moment, but having a design background so you recognize when you're making a terrible design really helps. If only every spastic fourteen year old on Myspace had my training...
Anyway, what are we talking about? Myspace murder?

Also, the layout is actually pretty versatile. Sure, the default setup isn't great, but I've seen people do all sorts of cool shit to their layout and pretty much completely re-organize the page. There are also sites out there that provide insta-code to do alot of that stuff.
