I'd like to point out that the winner of last year's "popularity contest", and the runner-up, were early exits this time around. Of the people still in this contest that were in it last year, I think only Fernin got this far last time. People who had early outs last year got pretty far in this one, people who did pretty well last year (yo) did pretty poorly this time.

I'm not trying to be hostile, or even really contradicting you, and I don't think you're 100% serious, but I do think people are considering the campaigns pretty heavily this time around (no disrespect to Cam and Lem, but if this were a pure popularity contest, I think you woulda creamed them).

I think the fact that those interested in a food forum have been opressed for so long has caused such a backlash that when cam and lem used a pro food forum stance for their campaign platorm, people rushed to vote for them.
