Hah, nice, Knyte.
Fuck what all the haters, this looks awesome and I am thoroughly intrigued.
The scale of this game is supposed to be massive and it's supposed to be set in 1912, a precursor to the other two games.
I loved the mood and atmosphere of the first two and have high hopes for this. Not slated until 2012 though...
It has a completely overhauled engine and looks gorgeous, glad to see the franchise finally leave the water. Changing the setting to sky is nice change of pace.
This. Looks. Amazing. I'm really interested to see how the story ties into the universe as a whole, and if there will be any connections to the world underwater...but yes, this looks to be amazing. Bioshock is one of the few single-player experiences I can play again and again. On harder difficulties. I just hope the atmosphere that chilled me so well in Bioshock 1/2 remains...now that we're in the sky, the sun can make things bright...and light is not very scary.

I've only played the original BioShock, but this still interests me. I've heard theorizing that the sky city (or part of it) becomes what will later be Rapture after Ryan cuts it off and sinks it into the ocean. ...Personally I think that would be a little too obvious, but hey, as long as the game is good.
The trailer was all sorts sorts of interesting, but I'm not entirely sold yet. The game will probably stay faithful to Bioshock and Bioshock 2, but at this point they haven't really gone in-depth with individual new and returning gameplay mechanics or important new tweaks.
I'll say that the setting of what appears to me as a WASP-oriented realm looks pretty intriguing as to its possibilities. Like Rapture, the city will probably be in an internal war, so it will be interesting to see what the history of the city is.

That shit, where he zaps like 15 dudes with the storm cloud, is fucking brutal.
This looks so much more open and spacious than the first. I kinda like the claustrophobic feel of the original games, but what they have done here looks pretty impressive.
