I heard a similar story years ago about a small strawberry plant growing inside a guy's intestines. I figured it was urban legend BS; maybe it's time to do a little research of my own.

Pretty much the greatest thread of all time: http://www.sydlexia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14789

Clearly you never took biology in high school. One of the classic lab experiments is that you grow two seedlings, one in sunlight and one in darkness. Both grow, but the one with sunlight is bigger and healthier. There are two parts of photosynthesis: light reactions and dark reactions. A plant can grow and survive without light reactions for quite awhile.

I'm reminded of that one episode of Rugrats where they invade Chuckie's body to retrieve a watermelon seed he swallowed before it grew.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

I hate it when news sites have no article and instead just an auto-playing video
