The music never really "stuck" with me in any of these games. I suppose I would go with the SNES Mario RPG since Square had some hand in it.

same here. especially w/the handheld games since i usually play w/the volume low so as not to bother others.
ill have to youtube some of these to give a more educated answer

Ok, it is hard to choose for ONE soundtrack; every single game has a gem of a song that stands out from the rest of the game's soundtrack.

I think I'll have to go with Superstar Saga overall of the Mario RPGs that I've played (Paper Mario, SMRPG, and Superstar). Its not a great soundtrack, but it's pretty enjoyable and catchy.
