Okay, the last Quarterfinal matchup, so here you go:

IRC Revolution, consisting of IRC maven Fernin and humble newbie Klimbatize, tore through Shadaloo Breeding Crew in the opening round, then slipped by Polluters of Time and Space in the round of 16 (Octifinals?) by a score of 31-30.

The Oncoming Storm, consisting of awesome Bunny Butters avatar maker Blackout and the foreign name-changing TheThunderThief, tie-broke past Jeebus's Friends in the opener, then beat Operation Mayonnaise Supreme 26-15

Three days for this one, so go make some voteage!

Fern is the man on this team with talent. I have very little. I do what I can with what I have. Below is the fruits of this man's labor.

OK, so some of you may have seen sidewaydriver's word search that he put up in his Battle thread yesterday. I was a little bummed because I had spent a few hours over the weekend putting one together myself. I wasn't going to post this since it's the same concept as sideways', but then I figured, what the hell? I had spent a lot of time fitting all these names (111, to be exact) into this fucking grid, so I'm putting it up. Sue me. Plus, I already told Andrew Man I'd post it and I don't want to disappoint Mr. Tecknolicious himself.

I included as many names as possible. If you have a number in your name than I dropped that from the name, in some cases changing it to whatever letters it corresponded to. I have some IRC-exclusive people listed as well. I even threw in some newbs that have been posting a lot. Check if your name is on the list. If it isn't, I apologize. If it makes you feel any better I didn't include my own. What kind of self-absorbed hack would include his own name in a puzzle over another forumers? Not I.

If you dig word searches, I hope you have some fun with this. If you don't, that's fine. Fern and I will be coming up with more stuff throughout the next 3 days. A vote for the IRC Revolution would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Also, there is a profound hidden message about a certain forumer in there. Happy hunting.

That didn't "suck" and it definitely wasn't retarded klimb... cool idea. I genuinely like how it gets the viewer to interact with it, i'll have to see what sideways did now.

I just anticipated it, predictable kilmb, but it was still funny.

Remember though astoundingly stupid would be more p.c.

Edit: I looked for some more names.. i didn't like how you just through a bunch at the end that just read right across. But I understand it can take awhile to put those together.

Edit: Now that i think about it this is a horrible puzzle to give syd lol... What would be funnier is if you didn't include someone's name but you kept them on the list, and just had partial correct names.. so they'd just spend forever looking for their nonpresent name.

edit 3: I tried finding syd, and found everyone else's name first. Nhihlistic glee, username, DR. Jeebus, krislexia, soldierhawk, tardisman, and a quite a few others. Eventually i got wise and decided to look at all X's as opposed to the letter S, and that helped a lot. I looked for Syd and Jeeb at the same time.. for Jeeb i looked for doube e's.

That's correct fellow Sydlexians, you've been deceived this entire time, it wasn't until I saw a certain poster in their previous battle...something just didn't seem right.

Then it happened, I came upon a sweet pair of sunglasses:

Much to my surprise these were more than a sensible pair of shades...oh yes, much more. These shades will reveal particular things about particular..."people". It was then that I discovered the IRC Revolutions treachery... As much as they would like for you to believe the Contrary, the great IRC Revolution doesn't just consort with aliens... Well, I wasn't involved in the scheduling, but I believe it was done this way so the Forum Battle didn't stretch out longer than necessary, like into September, being that it was announced back in May. I do know there's a break between the Semi-Finals and the Finals, though.

Plus, we don't want to piss off JRA any longer than we need to by having Polls clog up General Discussion.
