I just started using the netplay feature on my n64 emulator, project 64 and it lets me host or join any 64 game and play it on a server. you can also use netplay with certain SNES, genesis and NES emulators. just last night i played all through cyborg justice and streets of rage 3 for genesis with a kid from the UK, it was fucking ridiculous. did anyone else know about that shit?

I used to play X-Men VS. Street Fighter over Kaillera. I eventually stopped because unless your ping with someone was zero, there was going to lag and someone was going to complain.

yea i definatley get some lag with project64, but i can get past it and compensate for it sometimes (i.e. i can still perform well in mariokart, but struggle in smash bros.). however my genesis games seem to run almost flawlessly with little or no lag. i have yet to fuck with mame in kaillera

I can't play mame on kalleria. it lags so terribly. there's no way to compensate for that kind of lag while palying street fighter.

That's what happens to me.

So I;m stuck playing the SNES version of SFA2.

I play MAME with Murdar, and we don't get too much lag, which is odd. The only lag we get is due to my comp's processor being only around 1.7GhZ, so that lags even when I'm offline. I also play NES with Bomberman (we need to play some more 'o that Gundam game, by the way), and that's fun. We would play some Zsnes, but that's just royally fucked up.

You have fake lag, or somehow artifically created lag. Your internet is getting literally THIRTEEN ping to anti3d.com, but it was jerkier than if you had 3000 ping. Seriously. Something beyond our control is fucked, but it's no normal lag here that's causing this shit.

Or kaillera is just fucked up or something.

Who the fuck knows?

Yeah, because we get virtually no lag with 53 ping and 62 ping, respectively.

i love playing the 4 player beat em ups and shooters on MAME, like Sunset Riders, Turtles in Time and XMen and such
