The talk of people getting tattoos in the forum battles makes me wonder what there members here have in the way of ink if any. I think a topic like this has been done but I can't find it.

Does anyone have a Tattoo related to this site? That would be worthy of getting through one Forum Battle round.

Not to be a dick, but do you ever plan on having a legitimate job? (I also have no idea what you do right now, so maybe you do). Those are the absolute worst places you can ever get a tattoo, cause there's no way to cover them.

I wouldn't call them offensive, but I would never hire someone who dealt with customers or the public if they had visible tattoos.

fair enough
in AZ, the main line of work are call centers. mostly cuz of the heat. and thats been my career so far. customer service for AT&T. then sales for QWEST. followed by collections with CHASE & FIRESIDE.

Yeah, for something like that it's fine. While they're not offensive, I do still think they're viewed as unprofessional, however, so I imagine it'd be hard to be like a customer service rep for one of those companies that actually goes and visits clients.

I work in employment and I know that this varies a bit. Some business owners are very old-fashioned and will not tolerate tattoos/piercings/etc... Some places don't care such as call-centers or will tolerate very small tatoos like some of the local banks where I live.
Tatoo acceptance is rapidly increasing for sure, but I do think that many higher end jobs/positions will still prefer that they're out of sight or extremely marginal.

I don't have a tat, but if/when I ever get the money to do it well, I'd like a picture of a hawk (the one from my avatar, ideally) on a shoulderblade. I've also considered getting the Green Lantern symbol with "No Fear" written below it on a forearm.

Ooh, I haven't read that one (Fig says I should save it for last), but cool Vonnegut tattoo nonetheless.
