I hope this isn't too similiar to the Guess the Movie game, but whatever.
Here's how this is going to work. I start with a question - anything movie-related goes. Actors, formats on which we watch movies, you know: all kinds of useless trivia you thought you'd never share with others. The first person to get the correct answer gets to ask the next question. This should give us an opportunity to learn new stuff, yadda yadda. Let's get this show on the road.
Allow me to start with this:
This video storage format was comercially introduced in 1978 and went by many, many names until finally settling on one. It provided greater quality than co-temporaries VHS and Betamax, but it didn't quite catch on. What is it?

It's laserdisc! and since I know I'm right (I stole Fernin's answer from the chatroom ), here comes a toughie:
Most countries made their own kind of western, usually naming it after some local delicacy. What was the name of the Brazillian take on the western genre?

I'm gonna say Spaghetti Western even though I'm pretty sure I'm dead wrong.

That's why I was assuming I was dead wrong, it's just the only thing I could think of for type of western.

Mr. Pink!
My turn.
The lead role in "The Wrestler" was written for Mickey Rourke. However, studio execs wanted a bigger name. In a move that nearly made Director Darren Aronofsky quit the film entirely, the studio went as far as negotiating a contract with another actor. Who was the actor that almost replaced Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler"?

It was Nic Cage. Nekky's correct.
Can you imagine that movie with him as the lead? Completely different.

Alright, here goes my question.
This actor appeared Star Wars: Episode Four, as well as several Hammer horror flicks, appearing alongside another actor who would later play Darth Vader in Star Wars. He also played an infamous interpretation of a beloved British television icon, fans of whom you can on this very forum. Who is this actor?

Edit: Peter Cushing
Starred with David Prowse (Darth Vader) in "Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell", then was in Star Wars as Grand Moff Tarkin. He also played Dr. Who.

The Scorpion King, starring the Rock.
David Hayter, who provides the voice for Snake, wrote the screenplay. Vince McMahon was one of the producers of the movie.
