Seeing as I have had more actual interaction with members of the Sharks then the Light-fellows, I have to give the metallic sea critters my vote.

Also FNJ seems like a pretty cool guy who possibly doesn't afraid of anything.

It seems like my vote has tipped the scales... The suspense is terrible... I hope it last.

Usa and Rycona hate new members. FNJ and I make a point to interact and welcome all new members of our fine community!

I've heard tales about usa and ryconia doing really disturbing things to new forumers. Taking advantage of their adolescent naietivity...

Of course this is all rumor. As an upstanding individual, I can neither confirm or deny these rumors. A man of my caliber will not just throw around random accusations as truths.

I recommend chewing it over with a delicious twix(tm).

The Metal Shark Players are also fans of Charlston Chew, along with many other fine candy bars.

For instance, my favorite candy bar is the Nutrageous.

I am contractually obligated to tell you that twix(tm) candy bars are my favorite, but I also enjoy triscuits.

I see the slander machine has been running while I was working. I'd like to clear a few things up while I work on some more substantive things.

*Rycona and I are famously kind to new people. In fact, we don't even care if someone is "new" or "old". We judge by actions, not status. I can't speak for our opponents, though I think I did hear sidewaydriver tell a new poster who needed help to fuck off.

*Maybe it's been forgotten, but I also hold a position of responsibility: I'm an op in the chat room. And in my domain, everyone is welcome to stop by. To get into the NWO, you need approval, and FNJ has been known to throw people out for disagreeing with him. Which one sounds fair and equal to you?

*I contribute to this forum on a regular basis in meaningful ways. I hold contests for the benefit and enjoyment of the forumers, including the very one we're competing in. I set and post challenges such as the A-Z Review and the Mega Marathon, and I've even put some of my own hard-earned money up as a prize. The opponent's contributions? Some 15-minute photoshops, and taking credit for someone else's idea of a contest rating naked women.

*I follow the rules. Double posting? Oversized signatures? Saying "Sammich"? All things my opponents do on a regular basis. If they have no respect for our board, why vote for them?

Please, don't be fooled by flash, trickery, and the only demands on someone's free time being their mother calling them up from the basement to dinner. Make the right choice.

tl:dr - Fuck those guys.

and he makes his own gravy, too!

seriously, did FNJ or sidewaysdriver hack a classic videogame and make it relevant to the forums? has anyone else actually played through the whole goddamn thing, or at least up to before melmond where you have to stop? because it's a thing of beauty damnit. dont ruin something beautiful for vague promises and fauxbama Megaman avs.

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

I do have to say, Usa was welcoming and open when I first showed up. Only other person I really remember giving me such a warm welcome was Soliderhawk and Klimb.

Okay, if Jeebus can pull out quirky people from foreign shows brought to the US to pick up the slack while his partner is out of commission, so can I.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ryan Stiles:

...and we have a special treat for you, Ryan's gonna do the Metal Shark Players Hoedown! Take it away, Ryan.

Usa speaks of a slander machine but I can see his slander machine is in hyper overdrive. My dear Usa, I am a hard working American who has served his country in a time of war. Simply put, I love America too much to let either you or the terrorists win.

Our opponents, The Forumers of Lies, would have you believe that a Final Fantasy hack is in the works. I haven't seen anything delivered this round and I don't expect to see anything in the near future. It's bad form to run a campaign on a promise you can't keep and our fellow Sydlexians deserve much better than that.

You know full well my partner is having serious difficulities and can't work on the hack. And to attack the character of someone who can't even defend themselves, particularly someone as upstanding as Rycona, is shocking. Particularly coming from a team that has yet to keep any of their campaign promises.

See, even Ryan Styles is offended:

Maybe you have the luxury of sitting around and being FNJ's photoshop bitch, but unfortunately some of us have real world issues. The hack has been promised and will be delivered long before our opponent's promises of personal phone calls and fellatio will be.

In the meantime, why don't I go ahead and fill one of my campaign promises right now?

Ah yes, a barely audible sing-a-long with 99 Red Balloons... Real world issues indeed.

My last campaign poster is clearly a Batman reference, done especially for you.
