Vanilla Ice goes perfectly with Assassins Creed. Seriously.

I'm like Vaenamoenen when it comes to playing custom music. If I'm grinding, playing online, or if the games music doesn't particularly stand out to me (an example being Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion), I'm likely playing a custom soundtrack.

Several years ago I was playing Twisted Metal Black with my brothers. We had two TVs in the room so the other one was always playing a movie (usually Austin Powers). We put on "The Devil's Advocate" to change things up. The movie finished about 2 seconds before I beat Twisted Metal Black. Both play "Paint It Black" during the credits.

It was pretty awesome.

I was listening to "You're the Best Around" While playing Kung Fu (confusing, I know) and I was chopping and kicking the shit out of everyone.

I usually listen to the game if it's Final Fantasy or something, but with most action games I use custome music.

Borderlands seem to go well with Dir en Grey, especially the Vulgar album. I always seem to listen to Ra when I play Peggle, probably because it was one of the only things actually installed on my old 360 hard drive. It's annoying that you can't make playlists out of things on your external or whatever on 360, and that putting music on the hard drive is like pulling teeth, without hands.
