Atman - Philosophical term used within Hinduism and Vedanta to identify the soul whether in global sense (world's soul) or in individual sense (of a person own soul).

Ryu - Japanese for Dragon and contrary to belief, has nothing to do with Street Fighter.

I play bass, which is on the low end of the noise spectrum, and one of my friends would always get pissed because I never suggested any ideas to go anywhere and called me a lemming. I took it back, and changed my AIM name to LowEndLem, to fuck with her. It's been my handle on every site ever since. I actually answer to Lem just as much as my real name, weirdly enough.

While registering to this forum, I was reading about Finnish mythology. One the main deities in there is Väinämöinen. Picked that name and ditched ä and ö. Avatar is from this great painting, that depicts the dude.

Mine's a leftover from whenever I used to post on the Blood-Sports.net boards. I did Enshin Karate (seven years of it, though I quit in my senior year of high school due to a disinterest in martial arts, and musical interests taking over), and I was a dude, hence the name Enshinkarateman. I'd like to change it to JakeStrangiato after the Forum Brawl, though, seeing as how that one fits my current persona better.

I actually loved Castlevania 64 and before I played it Simon was always my favorite character, but then came Reinhardt Schneider. I thought he was the coolest and still do, so naturally I took the name, but I dropped the "d" because I thought the name looked better without it. I added the x because I thought "x" just makes things sound cooler, like "Weapon X." Smile

Mine is after the 1984 movie of the same name. Before anybody tells me the movie sucks, I kind of know Wink

But it had really cool box art, and I was very into outer space as a kid, so I always wanted to rent it when my mom took me to the video store. A month or two ago I actually bought the VHS off ebay (for a penny + shipping) and I still think it looks cool. The movie itself... eh. But it's still a cool title, and since it's fresh in my mind and it's from the 80's, thought it might make an ok handle for this forum.

My name is based on the character Roger Dorn from the film Major League, and the Shut Up part is because when we play pickup baseball (a semi-weekly thing my friends and I do), I like to play third base. But, I'm fat as hell and have no mobility and I am not going to get injured playing pickup ball, so I always "Ole" the ball. So, when they bitch that I miss the ball, I say "Shut up", but then they come back with "Shut Up, Dorn".
