As far as I know, we have the cast and we have the crew, so this should be great. I'm stoked about this. While I have that little bastard in the back of my mind reminding me of what happened to Family Guy, I truly have no reason to believe this will occur.

What did everyone think? I thought they were awesome, especially the second one. The unraveling of Brannigan's exploits was absolutely hilarious. I'm excited for next week.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh, better than Family Guy.
It's early on, though, and from what I recall the truly epic episodes never really hit until late season.

It was awesome, the plots were okay but I loved the jokes.

It feels a bit different than the older episodes.
I like them doing both a Star Wars and Star Trek parody at the saime time

I thought they were both solid episodes. First one was understandably focused on establishing a return but the second picked the series back up without missing a beat. I was reading about what the next few episodes were about, I think it's uphill from here.

Except for a few early on, even a bad episode of Futurama is above par.
At it's worst, Futurama is at least as good as a decent Simpsons episode. At it's best, it's the best show on TV.

Tonight's episode is one of the funniest I've seen in a long time. Some great iPhone and Twitter jokes.

As Helmut Spargle would say: These new episodes are... acceptable.
The pacing is a bit off of what it should be, I think, and I like my Futurama staying out of current pop culture, but overall it still has the dialogue that caused me to become a fan in the first place. Luckily it's not like Family Guy which crushed me when it came back a shell of it's former self that morons love likes moths to a flame.

I'd call it a pretty good relaunch, myself.
Maybe it's me, but it seemed to me Amy got a pretty significant bump to "main character" status. She seemed to get a lot more focus.

Amy and Kif were the focus quite a few episodes in the first run.

Yes, everyone got their "day in the spotlight" episodes, but Amy seemed to kind of get a lot of the spotlight.
And a lot of it was fanservice.

The only one of the new ones I've seen is the episode about Bender's malfunction, which I honestly think was one of the best in the series.
