I'll try anything as long as it's not going to kill me or it's human meat, unless there's something else about it that bothers me. I have no ethical issues with any meat, but I won't eat human meat because then you get "the hunger."

I have no problem eating beef, chicken, fish, pork, etc...
For some reason though I don't like the idea of eating a cat.

A hyper-liberal teacher at my old high school often discussed the immorality of offering horse meat on the menu. I'm Asian and thus stereotypically fond of eating anything with four legs, but it never occurred to me that horses were edible, nor did it ever appeal to me.

I've eaten shark, it's got a very bland taste. I don't know if I'd eat lion. Usually the animals that are preyed upon usually taste the best. But of course I wouldn't mind taking a bite out of the king of the jungle.
Also apparently horse meat is supposed to be really really good for you. I probably wouldn't eat it though, horses are pretty darn cool.

i think im down to eat any type of animal. i mean, shrimp is a bottom feeder, so if i can eat shrimp, i can eat anything
maybe even human...

Sidewaydriver, I'm with you on eating a manatee. They're the veal of the sea! Being in the center of the shitstorm, otherwise known as AZ, I know for a fact it's legit. My buddy went there to have one and he said it was a little rubbery and bland, but had a gamey aftertaste. Me? I think the most exotic I've had is rattler and alligator. They kind of tasted the same, to be honest.

A company on Amazon did promote lion steaks at one point. I can attest to that. I was searching the gourmet section and it was there.
