I would say:
mm1: coolest - elec man, lamest - bomb man
mm2: coolest - metal man, lamest - bubble man
mm3: coolest - magnet man, lamest - top man
mm4: coolest- pharoh man, lamest - bright man

I feel so lost on all of these NES Mega Man threads because I've only played like fifteen minutes of them. I totally understand if that warrants an outright and immediate ban. But I'll throw in the three SNES Mega Man X games because I had some striking obsession over those.

I know a lot of the games have an ice, fire, water, earth, and electricity based robot, so I tried not to let that influence me. I judged a combination of appearance, stages, fighting moves, and names for my picks.
MM1-Coolest=Elec Man (He was the first boss to ever kill me in a MM game. My most favorite character ever) Lamest=Guts Man

Has anybody read any of those rockman megamix mangas? They give the robot masters their own personalities. I have been reading them and I think they've been swaying my opinion a bit.

Nope, FNJ, I don't read any manga actually. However, I watched a few videos of the PSP remake of Mega Man X (Mega Man Maverick Hunter X) and X has some brief discussions with the robot masters which shows their personalities. I don't remember much about them, though.
