Yeah, the miracles of Wikipedia. I was looking up that court case on Wikipedia that you mentioned in one of your articles (some gay rights case), and it mentioned a Michael Bower. I thought, no way? I search Michael Bower on Wikipedia and it mentions nothing of this case so I figure you lied (how could you), but it does link to his MySpace. Mikey's a rapper, now.

Well, I did admit I might be lying right there. Plus, there are blatant chronology issues since the case was from 1986 and Salute Your Shorts from was from the early 90s. I do that from time to time, I'll say something that's blatantly untrue and try to pass it off as fact. It's done for satirical purposes, but it's only funny if you know it's untrue. A good example of this is my intro for the Rolling Thunder article. The problem is that it's hard to convey that you're being facetious online, so you just have to sort of hope that people pick up on it. Of course, if the lie is funny enough, it doesn't really matter if people know it's just a joke.

I did figure you were probably lying, but looking it up on Wikipedia takes about ten seconds. I'm certainly not clever enough to put two and two together in regards to chronology, but hey, that worked out for everybody because now we all know Mikey's a rapper.
