I've heard that James is actually a really cool guy when he's not in character as AVGN.

I tried watching this Spoony guy for about five seconds before giving up. When are people going to get tired of the obnoxious "screaming at video games" shit, already? Seanbaby did it well over a decade ago, and everything since then is exactly the same, but with more talk about poop and more juvenile use of swear words.

Spoony's pretty good at movie reviews, I really liked his New Moon one.

The fact that he can actually make a living on his videos should say how many people watch his videos. So he likely gets TONS of emails a day, as in if you were to print them out on paper it would weigh several tons. At one point you have to just ignore them.

But yea, aside from the fine art of trolling for lulz, in my own opinion I may say that I'm not happy with most of the stuff on the wii, but at least I've played the games that I'm unhappy with.

Also, calling fallout 2 a brown and gray shooter is totally stupid, considering it's a role playing game. Once again, play the damn games if you want to voice an opinion on them.

He is a cool guy. I've spoken to Him a few times. AVGN was originally so
ething he did as a joke for a one time thing. People liked it so much that he decided to make it an ongoing character. It's like how Doug plays nostalgia critic.

Not having my computer is killing me!

I'm working on something for this site, and the simple fact that I have to type on the iPod is making it take forever.

You can tell this just by watching his other stuff not involving the AVGN. He seems like a genuinely great and creative guy to hang out with. The "guy with glasses" people though all seem like arrogant and self serving douchebags and try as I might, I can't get through any of their videos without rolling my eyes.

I asked for the opinions of people who have played a game that I haven't. Sorry, but I don't have the time or the money to immidiately drop everything and go find a 12 year old PC game. You were the one who came in here sounding off like an asshole.

I like Spoony. I only got into watching him recently but i find him really entertaining. His game reviews are good though i would prefer if he did more 2D side scrollers instead of FMV games. His Dick Tracy review was hilarious.

I've never really played many Zelda games to have a good opinion of them but at a glance they do look kind of the same. However if people enjoy them, don't fix what isn't broken.

In terms of Fallout. I am aware of what the other games are like i.e. 1 and 2 but i have only played 3 and i am not a fan. You can play for a while then the game just gets boring and i can't be fucked doing anything. Speaking of Spoony his review of Fallout: New Vegas (from the preview he played at E3) seems to indicate that it's the same game really with no major changes, new story, new area, few new weapons, nothing really innovating or actually "new".

I won't be picking it up anyway since i don't like the third one.

Here are the key points of this discussion:

1. Fallout 2 is awesome.
2. Pretty much every Zelda game ever made is also awesome, having mostly been critical and commercial successes.
3. Skyward Sword, which we've seen about 3 minutes of, will likely carry on this legacy.
4. You can always count on the SydLexia.com forums to come to Nintendo's defense.
5. Everyone has different opinions on things and that's just the way it is.
6. Right now, someone is reading one of the numerous references I've made to how much Halo sucks, simmering with rage, and posting on the OMG-FPS-Games-Make-Me-Wanna-Cum-So-Hard forums looking for support.
7. Halo really does suck.
