Well, I'd say Nintendo, because their franchises interest me more, but Sony's presentation seemed pretty solid. I imagine there are people out there who care about Killzone, Ghost Recon, and Sly Cooper, and I would imagine those people are as excited about those games as I am about Kid Icarus. It will be interesting to see who the industry journalists think the big winner was.

Nintendo is just going all out with everyone's favorite franchises and brand new technology.
Sony's a little disappointing, showcasing their late entry into motion control gaming and few really interesting titles. Also, 3D with glasses... pshh!

Well, in Sony's defense, they sell 3D TVs. Of course they're going to take the PS3 down that route as well. From a business standpoint, it make sense; you hopefully get people to invest in twice as much hardware.

Nothing I've heard has impressed me much. I figured MS's Kinetic thing would be a letdown, and it appears to be so early on. Nintendo, completely predictable. I haven't read Sony's stuff yet.
Sadly, the thing I'm most interested in is the XBox 360 Slim. So when mine finally dies, I can get the Wifi and bigger HD I've wanted, but have been refusing to pay for.

Am I crazy or did Time Crisis look like a 1st person shooter?
I was ready to write Sony off then I saw Twisted Metal and...wrote them off. The one game I would buy a PS3 for and it's fucking clown gang warfore based? I know that was just the online modes but, since that's all we have to go on for now, I'll just stick to TM2 and Head On. I had fun with Black but I always hoped it was a one-time thing since Head On went back to the original story line and Black 2 was canceled.
Overall, I liked Nintendo's showing, just games and the 3DS, they kept it simple this year.

Agreed, I was really hoping for TM info and the video REALLY worried me that they would turn it into a GTA clone with more explosions and shit. I really hope the traditional style is still in and it's just as crazy as TM2 and Head-On. I'm glad we both agree on the best games in that series.
And Nintendo by far, all M$ had was Gears 3 and Sony had a potentially disappointing TM trailer and a phallic dildomote.

I'll say Nintendo, although I wish Star Fox was a viable franchise to go back to. I won't hold my breath though, nothing has been great since I got Punch Out Wii.

When they unveiled the 3DS, they had a video of Starfox's ship (sorry if there's a name for it, I never played it) coming out of it. Maybe that means you'll get a Starfox title there?

Haha, yea I was watching on G4 live this morning.
People are fucking idiots, for us true Nintendo fans, today has been better than Christmas day.
I thought about making a similar poll this morning, then thought about making a thread just titled "Nintendo won E3", and then decided against both.

i just read most everything on both sony's and nintendo's and i thought they both did a great job. granted, im a nintendo fanboy so im automatically biased towards nintendo, but sony didnt do bad. syd didnt include an option for both, so im not voting.
i appreciated nintendo appealing to their fanbase, and i also was interested in the games announced by sony. i dont care for the sony move or their 3d BS, but i was excited about Twisted Metal, and GT5. im not sure how i feel about the Sony Live Gold deal they announced, but we'll see how it works out.

I watched both Nintendo's and Sony's presentations. They both looked solid, but Nintendo just seemed to have way more to offer. They're updating so many franchises that almost everyone can look forward to something.
And Nintendo knows what their doing, yet again. The games that I wasn't interested in, my wife seemed to be drawn to--like Wii Party and that fucking Mickey Mouse game.
They just know how to appeal to a wide range. No, they won't convert everyone, but Nintendo is going to sell a shit ton of games in the next several months and years....again.

I think Nintendo just pretended not to invest much in the "core gamers" demographic to make Sony and Microsoft lower their guard the last three years and come back with all of these games at just the right time to make their presentations look slim in comparison.

Nintendo has had that image since the SNES/Genesis wars of the early 90s. They've always had the reputation of making "softer" games than the competition and while anyone who thinks that these days and prejudges good games based on that is an idiot, Nintendo doesn't really go out of their way to put out gritty, macho games in an attempt to shed that image. Soft, family oriented games sell more, so why should they?
I am excited for the 3DS and it looks to be yet another solid handheld from Nintendo. Sadly, I just can't get excited about the Wii though and wish I was more forgiving about the controls than most people.
