playing the MGS games in timeline order actually keeps things surprisingly cohesive. MG and MG2 are really dated, so if you just check the briefing files in MGS1 or any of the others on them it explains everything really good.
also, i didn't use literally out of context. MGS is literally my favorite game series, the one I like the most.
second and third are probably castlevania and legend of zelda.

It'd be more likely they port this to the PS3.
also, my PS3 didn't cost me 500$, and there's a lot more stuff on it then JUST MGS4 |
yeah. There's a bunch of games that are also on the 360, sometimes done worse. Did you like waiting extra long for your GTA and borderlands expansions? Was the bonus content worth waiting over a year to get bioshock?
All of those "clone FPS" games were also on the ps3, so that argument fails. Did you have fun not being able to play Alan wake?
If you take away all of the games that are cross platform, and you're left with god of war and metal gear. Can't count killzone or resistance, because they're FPS games. |
actually, i didn't play the GTA or Borderlands expansions because I think GTA is the worst thing, and I usually don't buy DLC because it's all shit that should actually be in the game to begin with.
Also, if you take out the games that are all cross platform, you're left with
(we're going on your argument that 'FPSes don't count' so i assume that's shooters, took out first and 3rd person shooters)
i cut out japanese exclusives and most games that are as of yet unreleased, and a ton of sports games since i don't like them
3D Dot Game Heroes
Demons Souls
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
The Eye of Judgement
Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Folklore (fucking awesome game)
Full Auto 2
Heavenly Sword
Heavy Rain
Infamous
Killzone 2
The Last Guardian
Littlebigplanet
Metal Gear Solid 4
Modnation Racers
Motorstorm 1 and 2 (both pretty awesome actually)
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (not even gonna lie, actually a pretty balanced and fun fighitng game)
Ratchet & Clank; A Crack in Time is actually pretty good from what I hear
Siren: Blood Curse
Star Ocean: The last Hope International (another 'port' that improved upon the original in every way possible)
Valkyria Chronicles
White Knight Chronicles (I like the first one and..)
White Knight Chronicles 2 (is supposed to be even better!)
Yakuza 3
Yakuza 4 (gonna be great)
also forgot the Katamari game
and:
despite being ports, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2 are absolutely fucking awesome and improve upon the originals in every way possible. If you owned both consoles, there's no reason for you to get either original versions.
if you cut out shooters from the 360 too, you cut out a larger portion of it's library
including it's top sellers and are left with a handful of RPG's, alan wake, and a bunch of shovelware, and a few alright racing games.
