Metallica ended on Kill 'em All... Mega Man ended on Mega Man 3.

Every time a new Mega Man game comes out, I'm thankful that I chose it to be my favorite franchise. He started out as one of the greatest heroes ever created. Now he's many of them. I still await Mega Man Battle Network: Operation Shooting Star with my typical eagerness.

Even if you don't like 4-6, 7, or 8, you HAVE to play 9 and 10. So good!

Honestly, I really liked 8 and think we need more Mega games in the series like that.

We need more rubber MegaGirl with JUMP JUMP SLIDE SLIDE and Elmer Light? I always felt MM7 was a good game in itself, sure the sprites were a tad big but like any other person I dealt with it and persevered.

That's six against four with 55 points against 34 with one of them being semi-dead(PS). All other franchises I failed to list I either don't care for or suck.

Yea yea, we all know the voice acting is weak, in reality though it's a non-issue.

Also, I didn't mind the jump and slide segments, they were only in like 2 levels. They also reminded me of those parts in Battletaods.

I really dug the art style and the general presentation. Duo was also pretty badass.

I like Duo, but I think he would've been much better if they went with the planned Dr. Cossack robot backstory.

I liked megaman 4 alot, but I feel that 5 and 6 were lame.

I also have to say Mega Man really ended with 4. 4 I thought was great. 5 and 6 however, eh. No originality, more of the same..

Actually, 5 introduced Beat and 6 introduced the concept of Rush Suits and False Bosses. Only the former stuck around for another installment, but it was good while it lasted.

Yea, the rush suits were pretty badass. Megaman + jet pack = good times.

Um, Rush Suits returned in Seven... At least one of them did. You just need to not suck and collect four letters that spell Rush and you get a Super Adaptor, which is exactly like the jetpack from six.

As a retro gamer I've played very few games made after '95 so I guess I'll answer the thread question based on older games. I liked the CastleVania series and Contra was cool. However Capcom brought us Mega Man and my favorite NES game of all time....Destiny of an Emperor. So I'll have to go with Capcom.

While my experience with Capcom games has generally been less hit-and-miss as it has with Konami games, Konami has given me my two favorite game series, as well as my second-favorite two-player game of all time, so I gotta pick Konami.

I've never played a Silent Hill game, despiting owning Shattered Memories.

Never would have gotten into Resident Evil if it wasn't for the REmake, but I'm glad I did.

they are both great, i never could decide. but i like the konami logo and that sound that is played along, so, konami wins.
