It's good that they are including the 3 original games with the new Splatterhouse since i don't own and never intend to own a turbografx.

Emm so Splatterhouse, Starcraft 2 for definite and maybe WoW:Catacylsm as a time killer.

Mmm, Eraserhead video game... if you play the Wii version, you get to control where the stream of blood comes out of the anemic little chicken, and there's a Hot Coffee-esque scene with the Lady in the Radiator.

I would have to say L4D3. The first two were great, the Passage was fantastic. Please, Valve, don't let us down!

Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

Golden Sun DS. I've heard close to NOTHING about it, and I'm getting nervous.

It was never commercially released. I don't think it was ever planned to be, either.

The Last Starfighter was supposed to be released, but never was.

Demonik, the game that Allen Covert's character designed in Grandma's Boy was also originally going to be real, but was cancelled after poor box office performance. Which is shame. Not because the game would have been good, but because Grandma's Boy is pretty fantastic.

I was joking, but as a kid I remember thinking how cool it would be to play that game. I spent shit tons of time on abandonware websites in high school looking for info on it.

I did too. I don't understand why they didn't use a real game, and why no one ever made a game where you defeat a wizard with a thermonuclear device.

Someone made this flash game last year based off the game from Big: http://www.bomtoons.com/biggame.html

There isn't much to it considering there wasn't much source material to work with from the movie, but it's the closest you'll ever get to playing it.

Not really? Seeing as the plot of the movie was that the arcade cabinet was designed to signal the aliens when a worthy player had been found, the magic is largely lost in the downloadable recreation, no matter how much love was put into it.

Wasn't the predator game released pretty much the same thing?
