Probably the two biggest third-party developers of all-time (maybe next to Square), who do you prefer. Criteria is based on their entire catalog.

Since I can remember, I've always been a Capcom fan.

My favorite game of all time is still Resident Evil 4, followed closely by No More Heroes and Killer 7. Two out of three of those are Capcom games.

Capcom is awesome, and as much as I love Konami, it can't compete with Capcom in my eyes.

Konami, I do like most of the games Capcom puts out, excluding Street Fighter games (and I can easily elaborate on why I hate Street Fighter, and most fighting games in general), but Konami brought Policenauts, Snatcher, and the Metal Gear series.

And Gradius and Zombies Ate My Neighbors and TMNT and Sparkster and Legend Of The Mystical Ninja and Cybernator... I think Konami owned the 90's, but Capcom has remained more consistent over the years.

I can't stand Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania has some great games but the series overall is lackluster, and Contra is awesome.

So I guess Capcom.

I <3 Capcom. Darkstalkers and Cyberbots are my favorite arcade games ever.

Then again, Konami does have this...

TMNT was a liscensed property. That's like saying that jojo is a capcom property. Sparkster falls under rocket knight adventures. Those other games aren't really ongoing, established properties, so much as single games with cult followings.

Namco is probably a lot more relevant these days than Konami. They are to me, at least.

Konami, if only because Capcom seems to hate Mega Man now. Seriously, Star Force? ZX?

Very true! ...also some of the best original gameboy games under the "Ultra Games" name.. but still the 80's , the present, and the future belong to Capcom!

Do you mean Zero or do you mean ZX?

Becaue Zero was when Capcom still loved Mega Man. After MMBN6, the franchise really started the trek to Shit City.

Zero was the last good Mega Man subseries. Star Force was easy as hell and so were the sequels - definitely nothing like MMBN3, arguably the finest game in that series. The 3D gameplay felt really, really forced, too.

I propose abandoning the Star Force series and making sure that all the future Mega Man games have the Inticreates logo on them.

And Keiji Inafune should be trained in game production. He co-produced Mega Man Zero and The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap (oh, and not to mention - Mega Man 9 and 10), while also pumping out crap like Mega Man 8. Someone needs to tell him what's what.

Largely the graphics. It just didn't feel like a Mega Man game at all. That being said, I should totally re-play that game sometime soon.
