I need to try the Legends games again. I immediately discredited them after one rental and found it to be so vastly different than the standard Megaman. I think I am finally ready to give it another shot.

It's a good series. It's not classic Mega Man but you shouldn't let that stop you. When I was a kid I thought the same thing but after trying it and the other series' I began to realize that a lot of them were actually pretty good. I love the music and the boss battles especially.

I really wish they'd rerelease the Mega Man Legends games on the PSN. I only played the first one but never got a chance to beat it. Maybe if they did rerelease them, they could build up enough fanfare to justify a third game.

That's happening, release date will be announced at E3 and will be before year's end. It will be an episodic DLC game. The current rumor is that the it will be split into 3 episodes at $5 apiece. If that's true, that's not bad. But I still rather have 1 DLC game for $15.

Unlikely. They will probably be released in rapid succession, like the Final Fantasy IV: The After Years ones were. It's a 2D platformer with 3D graphics. It would be inexcusable not to release them weekly, especially since I'll have each one beat within a day.

I don't know why I see this never happening, probably because their worlds and style of gameplay are so vastly different.
It would still be interesting though, I feel like a well-done RPG featuring both universes would be more compelling.

Too lazy to find the thread, but I actually came up with a decent premise for a Mario/Sonic platformer. In order to work, it would be a Galaxy Meets Sonic Adventure 2 affair, not a Super Mario World meets Sonic 2 one.
