Just curious. Do you play retro on your NES/SNES more often than not, or do you find yourself playing the newer games?
While I love emulating NES/SNES games, and have never stopped playing my PS1 and PS2 games, I find myself playing games on my PC when I have gaming time (I'll count that as a "next gen console" since I don't have any others, and since my rig is good enough to play any next-gen games released for PC on it.) I'm not quite sure why this is. My love of the retro games certainly hasn't gone away, and there are times where I want nothing more than to execute a quick and beautiful run through Ninja Gaiden or Batman, or to meet my old friends back in Hyrule or the various worlds of FF.
But more and more, I find myself wanting to engage with a game that gives me a true sense of *freedom* and, more importantly, of *exploration.* Hence my near-addition to Just Cause 2, and my daily prayers that Red Dead Redemption gets released for the PC. I'm not sure if this is just a function of maturing or what, but thinking about it got stuck in my brain, and now its stuck in yours too.

Most of the time I end up playing some newer games online on my Xbox 360 - it's the only 'next generation' console I have. My computer isn't built for such games, but lately I've been playing a lot of SNES and GBA games that I already own via emulators. I've also got a Gamecube which I play every now and again.
Good luck finding that game! The closest games I could recommend are Oblivion and Fallout 3, though they're extremely RPG-oriented and can still be quite limiting.

I pretty much only play games on the PC and DS. I go back to retro stuff every now and again for a laugh, but I find my attention waning often with them, especially on emulators. Games have improved so much in terms of design from those days that it's difficult for me to go back now and truly enjoy them again.

My PC sees the most use.
My X360 2nd, though lately I have been playing most Live Arcade games and such as you can see from my Xbox info in my sig.
Third is my DS, which I play in the evenings while I am trying to fall asleep in bed.

Probably the Wii, then the DS, then XBox 360, then the PS2, then the NES, then the Dreamcast, then the Odyssey-2, then iPhone. My PC I only use for emulation. I haven't played/bought an actual PC game in at least 6 years and almost certainly never will again.

During it's hayday, I probably got the most mileage out of my PS1.

I play games on my PC frequently. I haven't turned on a console in about a month, before that probably another month or two. It has been since Tiger Woods '10 came out that I really played any console games.
I'll probably end up getting Mario Galaxy 2, but not until it is on sale or something.

PC currently. I played PS2, N64 and Wii a lot before this year, but since I moved I've rarely played them.
I spend much less time playing games now anyway, and a lot more surfing the net.
I'll have to play Dragon Warrior II eventually. I finished the first almost a year ago and I keep wanting to play it but never get to it.

You're gonna be waiting a LOOOONG time. I don't think anyone's selling Galaxy 1 or even Twilight Princess for less than $49.99 yet!

No I won't. I received a 12% off coupon from BestBuy the other day specifically applicable to video games for the next two weeks. I can't recall if it was Galaxy for Kart that I picked up for $40 on sale at Costco. Amazon had a sale for Force Within at 50% off the week it came out. Things happen. I'm not worried about it. Either way I've got to buy an edger, grill, string trimmer, wet/dry vac, patio furniture, bonfire pit, and extend a gas line before July 9, so I definitely won't be buying it before that. Home ownership is awesome, but also definitely depleting.

Primarily my 360 these days. I play a ton of Tekken 6 online and some other games as well. Otherwise I use my Mac primarily for emulation of arcade games.

Force Unleashed doesn't count. I am talking about Nintendo developed/published titles. They rarely go below $40 if they started at $50.

I play my DS more than anything because I play it while watching news and sports on TV. It's also great when I have down time between classes. Wii I play second-most, though that's not very often. Recently I just haven't had the chance to play much on any console.

360. The wife and I play L4D and L4D2 pretty much religiously every night. She's better than I am, though, and I tend to Molotov her.

I got Mario Galaxy 1 for $30 new from Amazon 2 years ago. It was one of those goldbox deals. Also, K-mart has a deal this week where if you buy SMG2 for reg. price, you get any other Wii Mario game for 14.99. SMG2 + NSMB for 65 bucks is kind of tempting...
Anyway, I'm mainly playing 360 right now with some DS here and there. Been playing L4D2 almost daily since it came out and same with SSFIV. The last single player game I completed was Mass Effect 2. I want to pick up Alan Wake or Red Dead soon, but I haven't decided which yet.

These days I'm mostly on Xbox playing Just Cause 2 and when I finish it, I'm gonna get back to Dragon Age on PS3.
When I have company, I often pull out my SNES for Tetris Attack. Besides that, I pretty much emulate my favorite retro games on my PC.
Though I really should hook up my Gamecube and finally finish Metroid Prime Echoes.

I play my 360 the most, though I haven't played anything lately other than Zuma. But we watch Netflix on there so we are still on all the time. But we are moving to a bigger place with more rooms. More rooms means more tvs, which means more systems hooked up at the same time. I'm planning to get some solid time with my ps1/2 and my N64. My FC Twin died so I'll have to get something to play my SNES games on. I really want to go back and play some RGPs on that thing.

I play them in this order:
PC, DS, PSP, XBOX 360, PS3. Other than that the only systems I have hooked up are a Gamecube and Dreamcasst, and don't play those often anymore. To be honest I buy more games than I play at this point. I have about 30 games I haven't played that I own and that isn't an exaggeration.
I hate to say it, but I probably only play games one or two days a month at most anymore. I buy into the hype of games, but I find it impossible to find the time or desire anymore to play them.

I'm a PC Gamer more than anything, with PS3 in a close running, then Wii, and after getting Red Ring of Death twice I said fuck buying another 360. I include my SNES/NES playing in my PC Catagory since its emulation, and I also have a SNES Emulator on my phone, so I play it on the go.
