I'll vote for every single Evony ad that convinced some poor, lonely guy that a bad and watered down RTS was somehow going to get him laid (or at least get him free porn). Laughing

Yep lol. I can imagine how pissed RPG/MMO fans were about the bait and switch with the first couple. But can you imagine assuming you're going to get a bunch of free porn or something, and you end up in a shitty RTS? Laughing

I laugh because its so stupid, but it really is unfair, and I hate that company for it.

Out of curiosity what, if any, ads do you fellow Firefox users block with Adblock? I know some people block 'em all, but personally I don't mind sidebar ads that a) aren't animated or distracting (OR FLASHING, fuck those), b) don't make noise and c) don't follow me down as I scroll like some kind of irritating stalker. I will go *out of my way* to block any of those ads, even if I never plan on coming to the site again. I just hate em.

Most ads don't bug me though. As long as they aren't popup, and as long as they remain quiet and off to the side instead of trying to distract me from the content I actually want, I generally let them be.

I never understood the "Obama's given you $100,000 to go back to school" ads where there's a gif of some woman running or some lady dancing and then turns around and is embarrased. There one on almost every website I go to.

While not really an ad, I find myself playing the home run derby game that's usually at the top of certain webpages. If you strike out, it'll pop up some stupid website that's trying to sell you something.

The worst are the CONGRATULATIONS! YOU WON! ads where the audio volume is set to 1000. Pisses me off because I always seem to find them when I'm surfing the internet at 2am.

I have seen ads similar to that that have the ugliest people I have ever seen in them. I see them constantly, so next time I do I'll post a picture.
