The Kyoto prefectural police arrested 37-year old Nintendo employee Jin Nakanose for assault on Sunday.
The crime took place on May 23 at approximately 4:10 in the afternoon, in the parking lot of a shopping center. According to the police department, Nakanose said, "I was waiting in traffic at the entrance to a parking lot when I was cut off and I got angry."
Nakanose proceeded to get out of his car and walk to the driver's side of the vehicle that had him off. He then pulled the 29-year old male driver out of the car and struck his face, along with other parts of his body, repeatedly.
Nintendo has not commented on the incident. |
