Hmmm the first console i had was a SNES and the first games i played on it where probably:

Tom and Jerry

and Street Fighter 2: Turbo

I was pretty crap at Street Fighter then and i still am now.

I also had a Mac back in the day when Macs weren't the cool hip computers to own. Also Macs weren't really sold over here so getting software for it was impossible and had to get imported from the US.

I remember this game though:

and the following game franchise you all know but my mother was a huge fan of:

Either Castlevania II, Pac-man, or Kings of the Beach, I can't remember.

Now that I think about it, it might have been Donkey Kong. Or possibly Defender.

I guess the VERY first would be Ms. Pac-Man--one of the old sit down type machines--in the lobby of a Black Angus lol.

The first console game was either SMB, LoZ, Ninja Gaiden, Pro Wrestling, or Duck Tales. My babysitter's son had an NES and used to play all those games, and I used to watch him all the time. I can't remember which of those was the first he ever let me play, though.

Also, Spanish, I adored Batman on the NES too. I played the hell out of it as a kid, and got pretty damn good at it. The original FF was the first game I ever beat, but Batman was the first platformer I ever won. I beat it even before SMB.

Firefly! He's a bitch to beat--harder than Joker if you ask me. The only way I was able to beat the game is because, once you beat him, you never have to fight him again (as long as you don't turn off you NES.) Once i figured this out, I used up all my health killing him, made my way back up the tower after the Joker slaughtered me, and faced Joker again with much more health. Not pretty, but effective.

Mine goes WAY back. It was on the TI-99/4A. A game called Parsec. We also had Burgertime, Munch Man (Pac Man clone), and some sort of Number Magic game. Parsec was the best game, though.

Some old PC Cat and Mouse game and a bunch of Atari games.

The ones that really got me into playing games would have to be:

1. Super Mario Bros. - All that were out at that time.
2. The Legend of Zelda
3. Megaman - Whichever ones were out around 1988, 1989ish.
4. Duck Hunt
5. Castlevania
6. Burgertime
7. Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers
8. Duck Tales
9. Balloon Fight
10. R.C. Pro-Am - Never cared for racing games, but this one was kinda fun.

My absolute first game was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Game Gear. Some of my other earlier games were Super Mario Bros. for NES, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Genesis, and Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for Genesis. Spyro the Dragon for PSX was the one that really got me into gaming, though.

Jurassic Park IV is never going to get made. Face it.

First would have been Commodore 64 games. Burgertime, Ghostbusters, some muppets game with its own "key board". I believe we had a 64C. And I looked up the muppets game.

Got a super nintendo for Christmas in '92 I think. Super Mario World. I ended up beating it early because I found star road or whatever those secret levels were. That was pretty exciting considering it was my first console game.

Some Kangaroo game on Atari, it was kind of like Donkey Kong Jr. but with a Kangaroo. I also definitely had that Turtles game, I wish I would have kept all of them. I had atleast 40 different Tiger Hand Held games. This was my first handheld game though.

Almost forgot about Donkey Kong. There was an old arcade of it (right next to Pac-Man) in this old Pizza Hut we used to frequent when I was a kid.

I'm pretty sure the first game I played was peek-a-boo.

I cannot remember that far back, but I believe the first game I played was on a Vic20, C=64, or on Intellivision.

My best guesses:
Auto Racing - INTV
Snafu - INTV
Jumpman - C=64
Burgertime! - INTV
Lunar Lander - VIC 20
