SMB3 at some kid's house who was twice my age. So I was amazed when he was able to get through the 2nd stage for me, I think I was 6 at the time. I was actually familar with the story before anything else despite being a fucking shut in as a young child and watching PBS, so Map 1 always made me assume that the person screaming help at the castle was Princesss and the thing running around on the map was her horse. When I ended up owning the game a few years later, I was very amazed it was much larger than I thought it was going to be.

I know my first game was on my dad's Nintendo, and I can narrow it down to Top Gun, Friday the 13th, Bart vs. The Space Mutants, or Rollergames

The first game I played was either Q*Bert or Popeye on the Atari 2600. The isometric view of Q*Bert totally screwed me up. I had so much trouble figuring it out at the time. I must have been like 3 at the time, so I was just figuring out video games.

Yeah, I played the shit out of the Atari. It probably was Pac-Man, Centipede, or Asteroids. I was only 3 or 4 when I first started playing. My parents didn't want to raise me so that Atari console did. 4-player Warlords was my favorite gaming experience on that system.

Some old computer games. Can't remember which one. Might have been Hard Hat Mac. That game was hard as shit and I don't think I ever made it past the 2nd screen. I also remember playing stuff like Moon Patrol, Robotron, Donkey Kong, Burgertime, Tron, Space Invaders and Centipede on PC. Some were official games, while others were shitty clones. The first console game I played was Super Mario Bros. 1 at a relatives house. I remember having my mind thoroughly blown and I knew at that very moment I needed a NES. I got the bundle with the Power Pad and the 3-in-1 cart for christmas when I was in the 2nd grade and the rest is history.

Pipe Dream in Windows 3.1. It's the earliest game I can remember that I played more than once.

I 100% owned that game. I also owned a crappy TIGER Castlevania game.
But the first game I ever played was most likely Jungle Hunt on Atari 2600. I fucking LOVE Jungle Hunt.

I played that once. I have no idea how anyone could put up with the invisible modes.

Some Atari game, I'm sure. Can't remember its name, but at the very least, I'm positive it wasn't E.T...

This is one of the all-time greats. My brother and I settled fights with this game. Many hours on that baby.

There was one on the Atari I would play where you were a robber catching bombs being thrown at you from a prison wall or something..

I had that Ninja Turtles LCD too, along with Double Dragon II and a few others. I thought they were pretty fun at the time.

The first game I remember playing was Snafu, on the Intellivision. I remember the name of the game and that I think it was like Wild Snakes, but that's all I remember. This is like a good few years before NES, so eh... I feel old.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

No idea, almost definitely something on Nintendo. Very likely Mario.
Also, Combat for Atari was the bitchinest two player game ever.
