The "excuuuuuuuuuse me" obviously reminds me of the cartoon. It also brings to mind that fact that the opening shot of the cartoons showed the Hyrule countryside differently almost every time.

I loved that cartoon. It made Fridays the best part of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
I corresponded a little with Bob Forward, the head writer and story editor for the Zelda cartoons, a while back. Apparently he's quite the amateur filmmaker himself, and he specializes in blowing stuff up. I was hoping to convince him to guest write an episode of "Bonus Levels", but his concern was that he didn't really know enough about games -- he got his info about Zelda from his son and gaming magazines.
He's a really cool guy. And it's actually thanks to him that I was able to do some sequences in PS that I didn't think I'd be able to do effectively.
