3D Dot Game Heroes just came out and is pretty solid. I'm so backlogged with games though I could care less about what's coming out. I pre-ordered SMG2 and Red Dead so I think I'm good until Fallout Vegas drops.

| Dead Rising had flaws? That game was a blast. What didn't you like about it? |
The cheap boss AI, the transponder, the breathtakingly stupid survivor AI, and the unforgiving mission structure.
The gameplay was an absolute blast, but the story mode was frustrating beyond belief.

| Thunder, the 2008 POP game sucked. The previous trilogy was far superior. |
My Prince of Persia experience is limited to the 2008 game and the 360 arcade remake of the original. I've never played the "Sands" games. Are they really that much better? And what exactly do you not like about the 2008 game?
And as for Dead Rising, ChiSoxFan pretty much hit the nail on the head. I loved the concept and basic gameplay, but survivors are idiots and die way too quickly, the bosses have way too much health and unless you find about five pistols and a couple of wine bottles theres very little chance you will win, and THOSE DAMN CONVICTS!!!

I never played the 2008 Prince of Persia, but I remember it being pretty well received when it came out. As far as the previous trilogy, Sands of Time was excellent, but The Two Thrones and Warrior Within were both crap and turned me away from the series. Don't really care about the new one either.

I'm playing La-Mulana right now. What I've seen of the upcoming WiiWare version looks worth the price.

Too easy.
Too repetitive.
And you can't die.

I'm really forward to picking up Alan Wake when I get my next paycheck. It looks like a spiritual successor to Max Payne in its mix of film, literary, and video game story styles, while throwing in real horror-thriller elements instead of just jump-scares.
