I posted this at shoryuken...thinking maybe they were now stand up people considering they helped that dude out but...they're as big an asshole community as ever. Anyways, I said I'd take this discussion elsewhere and I am so here it is:


So I know it was talked about that in the future more characters might be added to Super Street Fighter IV VIA DLC SO there wouldn't need to be a SSFIV Turbo or X or gold. Personally I'd be happy with Alex, Yun, Yang and Karin being thrown in. But I thought what if they wanted to put the remaining Alpha and III characters in that's 32 more characters.

We could trim some fact, take out Sodom, and Birdie but I'm sure they have their fans, Q and Twelve as well but again I'm sure they have fans.

If SF 1 characters were to be included that bring the total up to 36 as I already counted Eagle as an Alpha character.

So that gives us a roster of 71 again not even accounting for everyone as I haven't considered EX characters (which I understand aren't owned by Capcom) 72 is we finally give Haggar his due as a playable character in a SF game.

Should Street Fighter V be treated ALA KOF 98 and 2002 and be a dream match title or should this game be A stand alone dream match SF game out side the numbered continuity?

Barring that the SSF IV Select screen DOES have room for a full row of extra characters so who knows.

I always no matter what I say there get bad feedback.

I has problems with this guy who spammed E Honda and I wanted some tips and they gave me some crap for it.

Balance...maybe the people I play suck but a ton of people can't beat my pattern based Juri. I almost ALWAYS leap back and projectile attack after I knock somebody down. My finest Juri moment was this guy who tried to conertrap me and use Blankas shot but I nailed him with the ulrate befor the 1 round 30 second match ended and his "easy win" turned into a FAIL loss.

I really have no issues with the roster as it is as I'm really enjoying Juri and am attampting to learn Hakan. I did post a rough run of me playing with Ibuki here as well.

I just got thinking what's next SF IV can't seem to get any better but we are over due for a SF game with every character up to this point sans EX unless Capcom and Akira can come to an agreement.

Juri is a new character and not everyone has figured out how to play the matchup (ie. what moves can be countered, punished, out prioritized, etc.). Spamming might work against some lower level players for now, but it won't be long before people figure her out. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I don't exactly spam moves with her. I never dive kick with her unless I have a 100% chance of hitting (always after a Hadouken/projectle) and her pinwheel seems to be hard to counter short of blocking it. That said, I'm not undefeated with Juri but I do plan to get all the online achievements using her.
