I use my Wii for...uh...nothing at the moment. I just dislike the gimmick. The last disc-based game I bought for it was Wario Land: Shake It. There are a few games I would like to own for it, though, like No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, Tatsunoku vs Capcom, and MadWorld. I think that's it. I do like the Virtual Console, but the Wii's small memory inhibits what I can get. |
You should really own Madworld, it's freaking 7 dollars at Amazon:

I don't have a 7th gen system currently. I can't tell if I'm too old to get into it, or if there isn't anything offered that would really blow me away. I bought my PS2 to play GTA III. I built a pc to play Oblivion. I really haven't seen anything out for the new PS and XBOX compelling enough to buy either system.
I also like the idea of being able to upgrade a PC whereas a console, your only option is to buy the next generation if you want to keep up to date. |
I agree, but I can see the huge appeal of the console. I know my video card costs about the same as a 360/PS3, so it isn't for everyone. Still, for those who use their computer often, like Thorton and myself, I can definitely see why skipping a generation of consoles doesn't hurt too bad.

I bought my 360 about two years ago and my PS3 about a year ago. I received my Wii as a birthday gift about three years ago if not longer.
I use my PS3 for web browsing mostly, but I have a few games. Ordered it off ebay. $300 for an 80 gb, PS2 backwards compatible model. As this is my first Sony console I needed the backwards compatible model to play the old PS2 games I missed out on.
I use my 360 for most of my gaming. Not much else.

u can use an SD card if you run out of memory. one of the patch updates allows the wii to read games directly from the SD card

Dude... we need to play at least once before I go home... I've played that heavy weapon with Douche a while ago

Technically, I own both a 360 and a Wii, though I really only get use out of my 360 (the Wii is mostly played by my parents).

If it is in the house and you could play it regularly, count it.

I owned a Wii for a while, but realized its not fun unless I am playing with other people
360 was cool, but moved back to the PC for gaming

We used to have a Wii but we sold it. All we have now is a 360 and my brother is the only one who touches that.

360 and Wii and a PC.
360 is my media everything and I pretty much play it almost everytime I do play a game.
Wii is in the living room and rarely gets used. I would use it more if it didn't look like crap on an HDTV. I do play VC on it though.
I don't play many PC games anymore so I sold my giant desktop for a laptop.
I recently sold off my giant video game/music collection as well....=( Don't regret it, though.
