I plan to watch at least the first movie, if not the whole trilogy, tonight in honor of the day. (And may actually hang in the chat while I do.) Anyone else going to celebrate?

I say we all have a May The 4th Star Wars chat party!
Is that 9 PM ET? I'll be in there tonight, though likely not that early. More like 10-11 Pacific. I'd be down for MSLT3K if anyone else wants to join in. I actually haven't watched the original Star Wars in a while.
It was at this point that I first decided to kill SoldierHawk.
In my defense, I usually don't pun, and I didn't invent the day. But really, this is one of those puns that's truly clever, and besides...it honors freaking Star Wars. You can't not support that!
Klimb, I'm actually a West Coaster, so it'll be 9ish PST.
And yeah, it's no worse than when I was a kid when I told my parents that on May 5th, all the Mexicans went out and bought mayonnaise jars, brought them to the edge of the Gulf of Mexico, and tossed them in.

I will so make my kids grow up believing that's the truth. Classic.

Pretty good.
Oddly regarding the Star Wars portion of this thread, I actually watched Episodes 2 & 3 on Spike just a day ago. In addition my dad dropped off some of my old collectibles as he was cleaning out the house. In one of the bins was a Star Wars Episode I / Pepsi cap from the premier events.

Happy Star Wars Day. This threaded reminded me 10 minutes before midnight here. I had no clue, we just got back from a day's trip to and from a Mastodon show and I'm barely aware of the hour right now, let alone the day.
