I know Sathien has played this PS1 classic, but has anyone else heard of or played this game?

I loved this game, but it's also one of those I really could not play again.

Heh, I took a 5 or 6 year hiatus from it and started playing it again in January and I forgot how much I loved it. Then again the worst damn part about that game was fuckin' Riki's quest... stupid rings.

I've always wanted to play it, never been able to find a cheap copy though. I've played the Final Fantasy Legend games (SaGa games translated and renamed), if that counts for anything (it probably doesn't).

Part of the series, although to be honest, the only one I've beaten is Legend III and I've never even played the first one. Cam, if you do find it, it's definitely worth the pick-up, easily one of the best games on the PS1.

I recently found a copy of this for a buck. It is pretty beat up but I'll test it tomorrow and if it works you can pick it up from me for shipping cost Cam. I don't want it. If it ends up working I'll PM you.

Whooo! T260-G's is probably my second favorite quest, after Red's. Also probably one of the easier ones.

Second one's good, really good, I love the music and art style, but there's just something about the original...

Aww, the first one is my favorite. Most people hate it because the level-up system for mutants is kind of ridiculous, but it just takes a bit of grinding at the beginning of the game. After that, mutants start leveling up at light speed. The second Legend is also pretty good (though I wasn't particularly fond of the obscene amount of battling necessary to level up), and the third one is okay.

The final boss in III freaked me right the fuck out! Hey look, it's Moses with a spear! Oh holy lord! Moses just got replaced by the literal representation of tentacle rape!!!

Heh, I won't spoil anything for you, but the final boss in the first Legend is very much different from any other final boss I've encountered.

Jackie Kashian, I heard about that, heh. Still, it's an interesting spin on the story to basically (*SPOILER*) fight God.

Funny thing, I just beat that game for the first time in eight years last night. It was the first game with the two f-words in the title that I beat. Just like back in the day, once my monster became a Beetle, all bets were off all the way to the end. Why? One word: Saw.

If I remember the bit, isn't he (*SPOILER*) a little Amish man?

Yep! It's kind of bizarre, (*SPOILER*) his sprite is a little amish man, then when you get into battle, his sprite morphs into a god-genie-thing.

Heh, I remember that. There were a lot of ways to blast through the game (I personally used the Glass Sword and that thing that recharged items).
