This trailer has me intrigued. It looks like space/drama/little bit 'o action. Also, Sam Rockwell looks weird without facial hair.

That looks amazing! According to the web page, Moon-Movie, it's already out on DVD! I think I might pick this up after work tomorrow and see how it is.

I saw that in theaters somehow, and it was really good. It was a return to classic sci-fi that actually make you think and doesn't rely on massive explosions and shit to draw a crowd in.

I share my Netflix account with my mother. She'll tell me what she wants to see and I'll rent it for her. She had this on her list for a while and it finally came out.
It is a bit predictable but the acting is amazing. GERTY is fucking awesome. Also GERTY is voiced by Kevin Spacey making him even more awesome.
Being a sci-fi buff I found a few major plot points to be predictable. Some of the things I was even just jokingly going in over in my head turned out to happen in the movie. The story is still good but the acting is what really turns this into a great movie.

I finally ended up watching this today and I can't recommend it enough. I watched it with my brother, and he doesn't care for Sci-Fi at all, and he enjoyed it. As Ice Worm said, the acting is phenomenal and really helps make this movie great. If the trailer looks good to you, you won't be disappointed.

Seems like trailers now a days give away all the twists, let me get my ass in the seat before you give it all away!

Oh wow. I've been on the fence about renting this for a while now, but those recommendations just sealed the deal. I'll check it out this week.

I didn't watch the trailers before seeing it and I am pretty glad for that.

That's what I thought too...before I watched the movie. I loved the movie, but I found the trailer to be a bit misleading after watching. I'll wait until more people watch it before posting spoilers on what the trailer led me to believe the plot was and what the actual plot was.

Sorry to dig up an old one here, but if you have not seen this movie go see it now, Simple yet awesome, as perfect a movie could be made and the robots voice was the best since Douglas Rain's HAL. High Five?

This film was amazing. I saw it earlier this year and really enjoyed it. I was actually kind of pissed that Sam Rockwell didn't get a nomination for best actor for this movie. Like I said earlier a lot of the stuff was kind of predictable. Also as you said Ash the film is simple and I think in its simplicity I enjoyed it more because I didn't have to think too much about various plot points and characters. Also Kevin Spacey was amazing in this film. His voice in this film was really soothing.

Sony fucking buried this movie. If Duncan Jones wants to follow through with a sequel he better choose a better distributor.
