ive long considered myself the king of tetris, vanquishing all challengers that have tried to step to me. However, this is on a city-wide, maybe couty-wide, basis. This forum has members from coast to coast, the great white north and across the pond...
...what are your top lines?

In recent weeks, after a few years of the tetris circus, ive topped 400...im pretty sure i remember 500...anybody else top that?

i too am more than meets the eye

Depends on which version of Tetris you are talking about.

And welcome to the forums. Cool

I once did over 400 lines on a Nes tetris. I think it's a hack, and features co-op mode.

Probably the Tengen version. =-=shudders=-=

I've gotten up to level 17-18 on the Nintendo version for NES. That's only 170+ lines, but it's quite difficult to manage at the point.

I think level 17 is my highest on my current cell phone version. I have no idea how far I was able to go on the version for the original GameBoy way back when.

I could have sworn that at the 30 second mark the t-shaped piece went up.

The DS version of Tetris is super bad ass. There's a "quest" mode where you have to complete lines in specific ways within a certain time. Like maybe you have to clear 3 lines at once, or maybe you have to clear 5 lines using only "L" pieces.

I haven't played Tetris lately, but if anyone here is ever in the mood for some serious tetris attack on Zbattle, I'm down.

Disclaimer: Tetris Attack actually isn't tetris, has nothing to do with tetris, and shouldn't have been named "tetris" anything. You can clear blocks with only 3 of them in a row, even. That's how NOT tetris it is.

I've only got Tetris Worlds for the GBA.

That wholly defeats the magic of Tetris. It's called Tetris as in tetra(ds) meaning FOUR. So each black is made out of FOUR pieces and you need FOUR lines at once to score a TETRIS. It's so mathematically sound. Of course, that math was the basis for the game in the first place.

You know, because Vladimir Ilich is a huge German name.
