* A handdrawn retelling of Winnie the Pooh
* Tim Burton's Frankenweenie
* John Carter of Mars in 2012. A live action movie based on the book by E.R. Burroughs about a man who enters a portal taking him to the red planet.

Disney is selling off its Miramax Films division to focus on family-fare within Marvel, Pixar, its own studio, and DreamWorks.

Wait a second... i forgot that Disney owned Marvel... yet I'm pretty sure there's a theme park in Florida not owned by Disney that has Marvel superheroes in it....

Islands of Adventure or Universal studios i can't remember... but how exactly is it legal?

Frankenweenie was always one of my favorites. I know if Burton is directly behind this, I can see Johnny Depp voicing the fucking dog or something.

I just hope Daniel Stern is brought back, he had the best line in the first movie.

"I guess we can't punish Victor for bringing Sparky back from the dead."

The delivery of that line is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Its perfectly legal, Disney can (and I'm pretty sure will, or already have) license the Marvel characters to Universal so they can use them on their theme park, provided they pay a lovely fee, I'm sure.

But going back to subject, I love Frankenweenie! Certainly good news for me.
