When I was younger I had about twice as many NES games as I do now. However I decided to make some money and sell the ones I thought I would miss the least. Among them were Mega Man3, Metroid, Metal Gear, CastleVania 2, Dragon Warrior, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and Zelda 2. What the hell was I thinking? Some of them I don't miss, like Dragon Warrior, that one sucked. However over the years I had to re-find Mega Man3 and Metroid. I kind of miss Metal Gear and Zelda 2, but I think the one I miss the most that I haven't re-found is CastleVania 2. I think I got rid of it because it was way easier than 1 and 3. It was still fun to play however. I guess I didn't realize what classics they would be later on.

Dragon Warrior doesn't suck!
I've been very lucky as far as buying and getting rid of games.
I guess I can say I regretted losing my N64, which I believe either my sister took or I lent out, I don't remember nor do I really care. However I had absolutely no problem finding another one with the games I was looking for for a small price, so it wasn't a huge loss.

Really? I find this game like twice a month. Anyways, if I come across another one I'll pick it up and PM you. You can have it for free just cover 2 bucks for shipping. I'll keep an eye out.

I wish I had taken better care of my original NES. And by "taken better care of", I mean "not owned a Game Genie". Then I'd have a bunch of awesome NES games because my NES wouldn't have broken and my mom wouldn't have given them away.

The Game Genie attaches to the end of a cartridge and is then inserted into the cartridge port of the console for which it was designed. The loading mechanism of the NES makes the use of the NES Game Genie awkward, as game cartridges for the NES are inserted into the console, then depressed down into the console. The addition of the Game Genie causes the cartridge to protrude from the console when fully inserted, making the depression impossible. Therefore, the Game Genie was designed in such a way that it did not need to be depressed in order to start the game. This design put even more stress on the ZIF socket than standard game insertion, bending pins and eventually causing units to be unplayable without the Game Genie present.

I sadly had to sell my NES, SNES and all carts quite a few years ago for financial reasons. I don't regret it TOO too much though as I really needed the money, and I can still emu all of the games I want to play. Having the physical artifacts would be nice, but the big deal is being able to play the games and I can still do that.
Worst part of the whole thing is that I sold them off at Gamestop (young and stupid...) and probably got a fraction of what they were really worth.

They sell pin connectors online for like $5, they are also incredibly easy to install. So if anyone has a malnourished NES look for one and you will be happy and your NES will be healthy.

Trading in Dragon Quest VII for the PSX to GameStop.
1.) It's relatively rare.
2.) I'd completely forgotten about all the bonus puzzle piece dungeons when I did it.

I'm really sorry I forced myself on that one girl in that H-Game. Things were going pretty well, and if I had waited through a few more binary choices, she probably would have offered herself. I'll never forget the look of sadness and betrayal on her face. It haunts me to this day.

Was so into my SNES when I first got it that I didn't notice when my dad gave away my NES and all it's games to my cousins. They would later sell it. Assholes.
Wanted a N64 so bad when it came out that I agreed to trade in my SNES and games/accessories to pay for it. Whoops.
Letting a friend borrow my N64 and all games/accessories when I first bought a PS2. He ended up somehow losing everything and years later would return just the console (no wires, controllers, games or anything). WTF
So yea, it took losing 3 consoles worth of shit before I learned my lesson. Now I don't trade in or let anyone borrow a god damn thing.

Oh... I used to always force myself onto Ayumi, since it was my luck that I couldn't get any other ending so I would say yes! After awhile I broke down and looked for a walkthrough... you have to do ALOT of stuff to get her to be willing...

I trusted this guy who I thought was my friend with leaving my SNES and all the good games at his house. I never wanted to, but I got pressured in to leaving it there longer and longer. Then things got weird between us, and by the time I worked up the courage to find out what had happened it had been "stolen." He probably sold it, dude was a sociopath.

Actually, I forgot about my PS1. Granted I have a PS2, but I loved the starting screen to PS1 SO much more.
I sold my PS1 to some guy (mine was actually modded to play burned games) along with around 60 games (burned) for $50. He was probably the only guy stupid enough to pay that much in 2003, especially for something he couldn't turn around and sell to anyone else.
But man...that PS1 starting screen...

Selling all my 360 games off for gas money, then finally my 360 when it red ringed, after being told my dad we had no warranty on it, then, the day after I sold it to some dude in Chicago, he told me he'd found the warranty.
Fuck, I miss my 360.

When I left for the Marines I gave almost all of my stuff to my nephews to hold for safe keeping. (NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PSX) They took great care of them and I always planned on reclaiming them whenever I came home. Then my brother got into some trouble with drugs and all my stuff went to pawn shops. Someone got Earthbound, all the FF's and a shit load of mint games for a great deal. Oh well, at least my brothers clean now, but man will I forever hold a grudge for that shit.

Meatloaf, Soul Calibur 2 is super easy to get. It was massively overproduced, especially for the GCN/PS2. I picked up the PS2 version recently on Amazon for 10.78, sealed. You'll have to go to eBay for the GCN version, but it's equally cheap.
