I'll stick with my wife's Chicken Bacon Creamcheese. It's exactly as it sounds. Chicken breasts stuff with cream cheese, then wrapped up in bacon and cooked.

Heavenly.

Yeah as in it sounds like you'll be visiting Heaven soon if you eat a couple more of those.

SUPAAAA CROSS POOOOSUTOOOO (and basically what I said in IRC)

-Finally- got my hands on one and promptly destroyed it within 20 seconds. 6 bucks, but that was probably the best damn sandwich I've ever eaten. Like, ever. And I normally don't even like chicken that much.

I don't even see why people are disgusted over it. Just don't eat a couple of these at once.

Seriously, it's 2 chicken sandwiches without any buns. I never heard anyone freaking out over being able to order 2 chicken sandwiches.

Wait, you guys are just getting this now? I swear we've been seeing commercials for this sandwich for months now.

... having just said that, I peeked on wikipedia (I just fucking wiki'd a sandwich. Clearly, my life has reached its apex) and what do you know, we were one of the test markets for it. Go figure.

You know it took me a while, but I finally realized this too. Its really no different than selling a Big Mac without the buns. Its just a double-patty chicken sandwich without the bun. *shrug* Really, the big deal there is...zero.

What this DOES go to show is what a huge, HUGE difference marketing makes. Tell everyone, "hey! Double chicken sandwich, no bread!" no one cares. But call it something like a Double-Down and market it as "OMFGWTF WE'RE MAKING A SANDWICH WITH CHICKEN PATTIES FOR BUNS, LOOK HOW INDULGENT WE ARE 4 TEH LULZ" and people freak the hell out, and buy your product in mass quantities. And even if they don't, the general awareness of the KFC brand has gone up by leaps and bounds since this hit.

Genius. Pure, absolute genius. I can't believe how long it took me to get that.

People shouldn't be referring to the chicken breasts like they are the buns, unless they revamp it and stick some other piece of meat in there with the sauce and cheese.

If they called it the bunless chicken sandwich, people would be praising it as carb concious.

Replace the word Arsenic with "Mineraly Enhanced", slap Spongebob on the label, and voila, it's sold.

That's exactly what I have been thinking.

"You ate two chicken sandwiches? So what?"

"You ate two chicken sandwiches, with no buns? YOU'RE GONNA DIE!!! HEART ATTACK!! HEART ATTACK!!"
