..tastes like balls. They literally put more sauce on it, lathered the whole thing in some kind garlic oil shit that probably gives you anal leakage and threw a bunch of green flakes on it. It's an improvement on the previous incarnation, but damn...it's still really, really terrible. Has anyone else tried it?

I hadn't had Domino's in about 15 years until two weeks ago. I received some coupons in the mail for free pizzas. We thought, what the hell?
It definitely tasted like free pizza. J-dub's right about the sauce, and our pizzas tasted really freaking salty. I've tasted better $3 frozen pizzas.
I won't get it again, even if it were free. There are just too many better options out there.
Our locally owned dominos must be different then, the sauce isnt' slathered and it's kind of spicy, and there's not a lot of oil.

Domino's has tasted terrible since about 1998. I refuse to eat there. Hell, Little Caeser's $5 pizzas taste much much better than anything Domino's offers.

same here
but for my cash, i'd rather just do the $5 hot & ready deal from lil caesars
I'll give Domino's credit...at least they're admitting they fucked up. I actually want them to get better, Papa John's level at least, because I like switching up pizza places and I remember when I was a kid, Domino's was pretty good. Now it's like this:

I tried it a couple weeks ago. The only problem is that it's been so long since I had Dominos, I couldn't remember what the old pizza tasted like, so I don't know if it's better or not.

I've always been lucky to live nearby to many superior pizza places that I've never had to stoop so low as to eat Domino's pizza. I always had Papa John's, Papa Murphy's, Godfather's, LC, even Pizza Hut all within a mile radius of my house so always had a good choice of pizza.
Even now in England, there's a fantastic little take-out pizzaria right down the road from our house that makes the best damn pizza (and burgers) I've ever had. It's also very reasonably priced. I can get an 11" meat feast pizza for about $8 (£5.50). I'm really going to miss that place when I move back to California...
Here's the actual place I'm talking about. I can't believe I found a picture of it on the internet.

How were you able to identify the taste so quickly?
I've never been a fan of chain pizza restaurants. You do better with local, privately owned places.

This is my experience. I'm not a big fan of spicy, but I really don't mind the new pizza...then again, I only get it because my wife loves those stupid breadbowl things and I gotta eat something.
I have had Dominos on both the east and west coast, and it does taste very different. California Dominos tasted like ass. The one here was...well, better.
We don't have Ceasers here, and honestly, if I wanted to actually leave my house to go get food, I wouldn't be having pizza. The biggest reason I order pizza in the first place is that they bring it to me.

What the fuck. Dominos Pizza is the greatest drunk food ever, it can't be topped. It has my full support.

That is false. Papa Johns will trump literally any other popular commercial pizza out there. I have had mom and pop Pizza from little random places all over the country that are fabulous, so they don't really count in the popular commercial pizza war.

The pizza hierarchy around here is:
1. Original Pizza, a local place owned by someone who actually is Italian and knows about pizza.
2. Geneo's, another local.
3. Papa John's
4. Domino's, I've never had any of the above stated problems, and I think they're much better now than previously.
5. Pizza Hut
6. Little Caesars, I don't know whether the pizza is actually bad, or if I've just had way too God damn much of it, but I can't stand it anymore. Also, if you leave it sitting out for 30 minutes or more, the shit becomes inedible.

Little Caesar's is still thriving in other states? All the ones around here went out of business. There's one left in Lowell, and that's it.

Papa Gino's is pretty badass. And Bertucci's.
If it wasn't for the 5 dollar hot and ready pizzas Little Caesars would have gone out of business nationwide years ago.

Where the hell is Chuck E. Cheese's on this list? How can we possibly take this seriously with that glaring omission?
