That's the problem with the internet, now that we're all nice and snuggled up together what you thought was an original idea soon turns out to have already been around.

I thought I was onto something, when I noticed that Tom Hanks goes to the bathroom in every movie he is in, of course someone beat me to it by about 3 years on here.

Dude, it's on "Internets"...page 1...
*EDIT* I'm an idiot. I realize now that you meant you didn't want to dig through the multiple pages of that thread. Gotcha.

Why do you need what thread it was first in, I mean you said you don't want to wade through the other posts in the thread, and the image is right on the first post of this thread...

You could always send the owners the motivational poster link and say "SUCK IT BITCH"

Or Nintendo could tell both of them to knock it off.

It's one of the last pages of it. 24, I think? I also posted it on Twitter and maybe Facebook. It's also on the despair page.

I thought in America you could sue anyone for anything. Judge Judy said so.

Your suit needs to have a basis in something (and honestly, my favorite Judge Judy moments are those when she bitches people out for baseless suits).
Even if Syd could somehow prove they lifted the idea from him, I'm not sure he has a case.

Maybe he could ask them for royalties. Or at least a free shirt.

I took 2 copyrighted ideas and put them together. I seriously doubt I can sue. If you could sue over ownership of a joke, Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia would be in big, big trouble.

It would be pointless for me to sell t-shirts. Unless I can cut a deal with someone like ThinkGeek or BustedTees, I'm stuck with shitty options like fucking CafePress. CafePress offers:
1. Limited design options.
2. Shitty margins if you want to sell your t-shirts at a competitive price.
3. A site filled with shitty DIY sellers, making it hard to stand out.
I'd sell maybe 20 shirts to about 6 of you, and make maybe $1.05 on each of them. Without the reach and cred that a better internet shop offers, it's simply not profitable enough to even make the attempt. Also, I'm not a graphic design guy. Just because I can visualize something awesome doesn't mean that I can necessarily make it exist.
