Hi all!
I played this cool game in my childhood. Only things I remember: it's Japanese, it's platform/adventure and you can find Geta shoes for faster moving. Any ideas about name of this game?
Thanks!

Geta shoes, like these?
They sure don't look like they're very conducive for faster moving.

Yes, Geta is these strange wooden sandals
Thanks for your suggestions, it's similar to this game but not it. A little more facts about it: there are many items to collect (beside getas): for example feather (I don't know/remember its purpose).
One of enemies - old man (wizard?) who throws parts of his beard (cloud-like).
Also there are pagodas on background (and may be you can jump on it)

As soon as I saw the word "Geta" I immediately thought of Final Fantasy Legend. That's on Game Boy, though.

Wasn't there another thread asking what video games should be remade? I think I just found my number one pick.

Is the gameplay missing from that or something?

Since no one else has guessed, I'll just say it. Whomp 'Em was a localized port of Sayuuki World 2.
The most noticeable changes were that pandas were changed into regular bears, the hero's sprite was made into an American Indian, and the level names were changed. The ending was possibly changed as well, but I haven't played all the way through the original version of Sayuuki World 2.

Only the last level is hard, due to those fucking bouncy floors.

I've never seen a Whomp'Em cartridge down here. In fact, I learnt of its existence thanks to Syd.
Played a lot of Saiyuuki World 2 when I was little, though =)
... and even a hack that had a Mario 3 Mario sprite instead of the chinese hero <3
