That site hasn't updated for a while now. It hasn't even changed it's copyright date to 2010. The last "update" which if my memory serves correctly was a calendar sale, was 4 months ago. I mean, it would be one thing if the Chapman brothers said they were taking a break for a while, but they didn't.
So anyone know/hear anything about it?

Yeah, it was a fun distraction 10 years ago when Flash was new and there weren't many flash animation sites, let alone comedy sites out there. Now it's just sort of meh, and got lost in the shuffle of bigger and better time wasters.
I'm not that concerned there hasn't been an update. Making flash animations takes fucking forever and requires a lot of tedium so I'm sure the site is on the back burner for them while they continue to work on their moderately successful game series that makes them money.

I'd like to take this time to say that people who think HomestarRunner.com isn't funny now should go fuck themselves. Practically everything they've done for the past five years has had at least one classic moment in it. If anything they've been the most consistent internet entertainer I've seen.
