Maybe you think the art direction in Team Fortress 2 is fantastic, but you aren't really one for first-person shooters. Then what you're looking for is exactly this: The Great Class Dash is a new fan-made 2D platformer starring all nine classes from Team Fortress 2, complete with the TF2 art style. There are four levels in all, each shown in the video above, drawing various levels of inspiration from TF2. Out of the bunch, Canada looks the most like it was ripped directly out of Valve's game, but none of it would look out of place in the TF2 universe.
There doesn't appear to be any NPCs or anything standing in your way of completing levels other than, well, the levels themselves. The creator admits that the game is "quite short and simple," but the novelty of playing a side-scrolling game that looks exactly like TF2 should be more than enough reason for fans to give it a try, especially considering that it's free.
The game is now available for download. Previews of all four levels and links to download mirrors can be found on the game's official website right here.
