Basically it seems that since IW's contract with Blizztivision expires in October they thought they could get away with shopping around their next title to other big publishers. Activision has quickly brought the hammer down and said "not cool." It will be interesting to see where IW goes at the end of their contract.

They left EA to be creatively free at Activision, who has now tried to pigeonhole them into the "biannual" Modern Warfare series. Now they will leave Activision to make some other publisher MOUNTAINS OF MONEY.

Meh... they can go screw themselves (infinity ward). Once they fucked up the dedicated servers, I didn't care anymore... Sidenote: Anyone else been keeping tabs on this incident with an X-Box Live person and a modder? Some funny shit going on!

You mod, you get fucked. Don't mod and play good... I hate people who think breaking the rules is okay and then when they get punished, they have the right to bitch and complain. You brought it upon yourself, much like the Aim-botters who get VAC banned on Steam.
