I already own it on two different platforms, I'm not paying for that shit again. It's definitely my favorite FF, so I'm glad it's on the VC now though.

I beat this on my GBA as FFIV so I really don't need to get this again, unless I get that urge...

I wanted the real FFII to hit the VC and for this game to hit it under its true number. I even tried several times to make that happen.

I know what you mean, I have beaten the original and the DS remake, yet I still contemplated downloading for a moment...who knows I may end up doing it at some point in the future...not today though.

And have this one hit the VC as four? I can get behind that. Especially since Nintendo has proven that they aren't afraid of tweaking their classics.
Regardless, I'm still gonna get 6 when it hits. The music is too good (not to mention they fucked up the armageddon scene on the GBA version).

As several have said, I already beat it on the DS. The only FF4 I have on my Wii is After Years.

I have it on the DS and GBA. I could never finish it though. I start to lose interest the moment I hit the moon for some reason.

Has there been an English version of FFIII (original 8-bit version) released on the VC yet? That's the only Final Fantasy (1-9) I haven't played yet?

I know they did it on the DS but I'm talking about an original looking version(with the 8-bit) graphics to look more true to the original. Not a cheesy graphically enhanced version to appeal to the younger (graphics whore) generation. I honestly don't think I want to play an updated version of it.

Looks like I'll have to get a translation patch for FFIII, as well as Destiny of an Emeror 2, if I ever want to play those games in English.
