I swear I had an idea the other day to make a video of Helen Keller playing Tetris and every time she screwed up, I'd punch her in the face.

That is really cool. I wonder how the boss battles played out. Granted they are pattern battles it would be interesting to see him fighting the giant Dodongo. And know exactly when to toss a bomb at it or to make sure he had enough bombs to defeat it.

This is pretty cool. I imagine that the sense of sound would be more helpful to the player than we'd imagine - for a sec I was clueless on how he'd be able to charge up the Mirror Shield correctly for the Twinrova fight, but then I remembered that the ice and flame attacks make different sounds.
The one part that I'd hate to play blind is the Forest Temple Shadow Ganondorf Clone fight. It's really not all that bad - you can kill him in one instance if you have the Biggoron Sword - but the riding-the-horse-out-of-the-painting part always ticked me off a bit. I wonder if there's a pattern/order to what paintings he comes out of.
Oh, and the Gerudo Fortress stealth part would probably be a bit aggravating.

It might actually be easier blind, because only the Ganon going out of the painting makes sound. By playing in stereo, it's possible to pinpoint his location :
when the "left" sound and the "right" sound are at the same volume, he's directly in front of you. Unless he's directly behind you.

Good idea, lavalarva. The part where the friendly poe (visible only with the eye of truth) guides you through the desert would also probably you to require following his sound.
I wonder if this guy has a nice surround sound system. Not trying to belittle his accomplishment, but it's kind of funny how I never really noticed how much sound helps in the game.

He's playing with normal headphones. I don't think you need more than that to hear the sound properly.
And here's the video of him beating Phantom Ganon :

That is some amazing stuff. So I'm guessing his friends were like "roll forward ten times to get to platform" And things along those lines.?

Exactly. They played through the game, then wrote every single step. They posted it on the net (or maybe emailed him, I don't know),
and he could know what they wrote with a program able to say what was written (audio translator or something like that, I suck at explaining it).
