this isnt a superstition, but more of a pet peeve.
whenever i buy a new game that i am super excited about, i get super pissed off if anyone else plays it before i do. especially if they dont really care for the game.
i got super mad when my brother played MP2 only because he wanted to watch the intro. WTF?! after that, i would only play the game when no one else was around, and rob them of the satisfaction of seeing the story progress.
i know its silly and childish and petty, but its my game and thats my pleasure. why rob me of it?

I fucking hate that. Back when I had room mates and worked all the time and they didn't work I'd come home to play something and the bastards had beaten it in a few days.

Whenever I qualify with my pistol for the Marines I only carry 3 white pasties. After you fire each section you go down range and cover your holes before the next. The black "pasties" cover the hits, and the whites cover the misses. Helps me not to miss more than three.

sometimes whenever I touch something I think is remotely disgusting I'll lick the top of my thumb and wipe it on the palm of whatever hand that I used to touch it
although I'm getting out of it
OH and a couple years ago if I was hit or bumped a part of my body somewhere i would hit or bump the opposite side of my body because if I didnt I felt like my bodies symmetry was off

So today rather than being nice to anybody I tried to be an ass.
I couldn't do it. I tried to give people looks that said "go the fuck away" but no matter what I couldn't be rude in any way.
I think after being so nice for so long I lost the ability to be an ass to people
...well except for a couple of people who wronged me pretty badly
